Can’t Think Straight Gallery Gift Shop was the hottest Art Gallery and Giftware shop to open in 2010. Daylesford is buzzing after doors opened on April 3 2010. The gallery focuses on LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bi sexual, transgender and queer) artists and recycled products.

Can’t Think Straight's aim is to reflect the community’s attitudes on recycling, support green products and ideas, as well as LGBTIQ artists. The Gallery Gift Shop supports the LGBTIQ community by selling original art made by undiscovered LGBTIQ artists. The gallery pieces are carefully selected and there is an ever growing stock base of beautifully created pieces by local designers.

The Gallery Gift Shop not only sells recycled products, but aims to inspire the community to recycle items that once would have been discarded. The green and general community find the store inspirational and gain ideas to create their own works of art using simple household items. Hence the slogan is gay, green and everything in between.

Products sold in the gallery are ever evolving, keeping the gallery fresh. Just some of the items sold are various sizes of original art on canvas,  bowls made from chopsticks, jewellery made from knitting needles, accessories made from bike tires, decor, framed photographs and much more.

The store is open each week every day except Wednesdays and is located in the main shopping strip of Daylesford, so look for the rainbow recycled logo and head in for LGBITQ original art work, gifts, recycled products, jewellery and many more modern creations.

The gallery’s motivation is Gay, Green and Everything in between
